Snatched Up to Heaven for Kids by Jemima Paul with Arvind Paul is a children's book about heaven and hell. This beautiful story answers many questions that children and adults may have about heaven and hell. In the story, Emma has nightly dreams about visiting heaven. In the morning, she shares those dreams with her family. Her family is very open to hearing her dreams and helping her to understand what those dreams mean. The father in the story refers to the Bible to help Emma interpret her nightly dreams. Footnotes in the story allow the reader to reference the Bible verse that goes with each of Emma's dreams. This children's story is accurate regarding what the Bible says about heaven and hell. This story would be an excellent resource for a parent or a Christian school to help children learn about the Bible.

I loved how this book simplifies a very complex understanding of what the Bible says about heaven, hell, and the forgiveness of sins. Theologians, pastors, and scientists cannot agree on the Bible's meaning. But this beautiful book accurately portrays who Jesus was and what eternal life means. It is an easy book to read, and I like how the father in the story takes his role as the head of the household and leads his family with the Bible as his family's foundation.

Emma does have one dream that involves hell. This scene may be scary for a child, but if a parent or Christian leader helps a child through this part, they will better understand God's plan for us, and it won't be so scary after all.

I would rate this Christian book a 5 out of 5 stars. It is a lovely book that all parents with young children should own and read to their children. I have a religious studies degree and have found that the stories' references to the Bible were accurate.

Snatched Up to Heaven for Kids is a children's book, but I would recommend that parents be involved in reading this with their children because they will have questions. It is a religious book, and if you are not interested in religion or teaching your children about Jesus, I would not recommend it.
