Review of E M P Honeymoon
Senator Mike McBride unexpectedly receives a call from a voice that sounds trembling and whispering. When he draws closer to his phone, he senses that danger looms and that his sister, Kelly, has entered into trouble with some Korean terrorists who stalk America to bomb it with ballistic missiles. He is immediately plagued with the uncertainty of Kelly and her husband's specific whereabouts since he only knows that the couple only goes out to Honduras for their honeymoon. Fortunately, Kelly seems to be blessed with forces that she can turn to at all times. Mike, who is the Crusading United States Senator, is her brother, while Tom, who is the Carson City Police Sergeant, happens to be her husband. Watch Kell in the book E M P Honeymoon as she harnesses all her human resources to unravel the terrorist's intentions and probably prevent their destructive plan.
E M P Honeymoon: Kelly and Tom by Dorothy May Mercer is a science-fiction fantasy story that features how Kelly and Tom's honeymoon holiday is tainted by the demand to urgently suspend their honeymoon pleasure and help save America from the destruction that looms.
I love many things about this book. First, I love the realistic peculiarity of the book, as it makes the plot relatable. I could feel this realistic element in the plot's events, the roles played by each character, and how the characters are described. The story itself is an intriguing one, as I found the relationship between the plot's conflict and how the protagonist characters strive to resolve it to be amusing and cool to read about. Second, I commend the author for adding educational features to the plot. Specifically, I appreciate the education on the risk impacts of solar superflare and the electromagnetic pulse (EMP) that humans have put in the low earth orbit (LEO). Also, I appreciate the inclusion of coastal features like beaches, bays, and coral reefs. It gives information on the recreational quality and functions of coastal features. I was thrilled by the events about how a nation rises against another in order to dominate. And those in this great piece didn't compromise to give me the entertaining atmosphere of reading such an action-packed plot. The accurate use of military terminologies in the book made me believe that the author has a vast knowledge of military forces and their world.
I found nothing to dislike in this book. I do love action and tension-inducing scenes, and this book doesn't compromise on fulfilling my desire and giving me what I define as elements of entertainment. From the start of the book, my interest is piqued, and I carry my curiosity from the very first page through to the last page of the book. I didn't find a single grammar error in the book, so it is said to be exceptionally well-edited. Hence, I'm rating the book 5 out of 5 stars.
I will like to recommend this book to lovers of fast-paced action novels. The story is told, going forth and back. I do love this story style, though, as it emphasizes the action peculiarity of the book rather than the suspenseful peculiarity. So, if you are looking for a suspenseful and steady-paced read, you might be disappointed with the writing style in this book.
