Audible is a great easy way to get new bestseller audiobooks at your fingertips, and even in your PJ’s. Audible allows you to window shop by creating a wish list for future purchases or simply add books to your cart and start reading. Opening an account, pick a book and start reading is a quick and easy process. Audible accepts all major credit cards. The hardest part of the processes is choosing which book to read first.
Audible has a very exciting collection of major bestsellers and popular titles. Once you pick a book the app can be easily downloaded through the apple store or google play, which you will be easily guided through the installation and setup. All your devices will be synced together and updated as you enjoy your book where ever you are. The app is very user friendly. This means you will have your book where ever you are and where ever you want. Always at your fingertips to enjoy reading any moment of the day.
I give Audible a 3 out of 4 stars. I cannot give audible a 4 out of 4 because it has some major draw backs.
Financially audible is not easily available to all people including myself. The $14.95 membership fee only gets you one book a month, and if you wish to listen to other books before you are given the monthly credit you will have to pay a possible $32.00 fee for the book. In my opinion that is very expensive. I was expecting the membership fee would let you enjoy as many books as you would like in a similar fashion to Netflix or another subscriber service. You are paying for the brand new titles in their wonderful collection, but the titles I was interested in reading were available through my local library audio book app for free.
I will not be continuing with my subscription. I often read several audio books a month and multiple at a time depending on my mood meaning this would be very expensive for me to enjoy the same amount of books I am currently consuming. However the collection is incredible and you do not have to put a book on hold and wait months. I would like to see prices become cheaper and more affordable for all income levels because it is a great idea. I would recommend to all interested in audio books to take advantage of the free trial. It is a great way to get new audio books.
