[Following is a volunteer review of "Man Mission" by Eytan Uliel.]
Have you ever wanted to pack your bags and go out into the world, to visit places you dreamed of visiting? To create memories of your life and make each moment a lesson and experience joy and peace within you? If so, you're not alone.
However, it's not as simple as it sounds and just like it wasn't so easy for the characters in this book but they did. How did they do it? How was their experience? Have a read to find out!
Man Mission by Eytan Uliel is the exciting story of four old friends. They go on adventurous journeys together to experience wildlife and make it an annual tradition. Starting with the development of character and the baseline upon which a man's mission began with just the thought of doing something extraordinary between two men, then including one at a time in a four-member club. The idea was to go beyond the capacity of a man and try masculinity.
The book is narrated by the author, one of the members. The length of the chapters is decent allowing us to enjoy the time and be excited about what happens next. The author has done a good job of transitioning between families and careers along with travel narratives. There was a summary at the end of each chapter, stating who attended the trip, how they toured, what unique things happened, and any injuries and all were hilarious to read.
Further, with the family and social things, these men-only trips seem impossible to keep up, but then also somehow our four heroes managed to go out to places like Japan, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, and many more engaged in kayaking, biking, cycling, hiking, and other activities. From difficulty to relaxation, at the end of the journey, they learned much more about life and grew personally.
Being a man and an explorer, I can connect with the book deep within my heart. I like stories full of exciting experiences and humour with the entire reality of a man's life. I liked the information I got in this book about the places, the people and the culture of this place. I truly enjoyed each adventure trip they took and added a few trips to my bucket list too.
The author has put a map and scribbles before each chapter, which made me look forward to seeing what will happen. The writing style and detailed plots are appreciated. There's nothing to dislike about this book and nothing made me feel that this book ought to get fewer points.
I didn't find any grammatical errors, as it is professionally well-edited. That's why I rate Man Mission a 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend this book to all the men here who work and want to go out for an adventure and make an unforgettable life of their own. I do not recommend this book to children as it contains profane words.
