[Following is a volunteer review of "Man Mission" by Eytan Uliel.]
The Man Mission by Etyan Uliel is a story of adventure and the discovery of beautiful places in the world by four men who have been friends since school days. The main character and Sam decide to take a week off to embark on a lifelong adventure. in order to ease themselves from sitting all day at a desk. It all began with a trip to the Harper’s Pass Trial in New Zealand. Although the trip wasn’t really fair for Sam as he had a torn ligament on his knee, their other friends, Daniel and Alec, soon joined in on the adventure. On each trip, there was always a new discovery. From hiking in New Zealand to biking in Japan, from river kayaking in Australia to safaris in South Africa, they also went on many more adventures. On each trip, there was a memorable experience to remember. Although they faced many responsibilities and challenges, they also had to bring their career and family into a responsible reality.
What I like about this book is the motivational quotes and Bible verses before each chapter. I also love the way the characters were properly developed. The author, Etyan Uliel, did a very good job while writing this book. I was emotional at some point while I laughed at the behavior of Rachel during her pregnant state. The book also revealed the true meaning of friendship and the benefits of vacation. It also teaches that despite our challenges and responsibilities, we should always make our career and family work in harmony.
I couldn’t find any errors in the book. Although the book was filled with profanities, which also made it more interesting to read, some pages were too tiny to read, even when zoomed in using the OBC app. The book looked too real, as if the author had traveled to all its locations. giving it an exciting moment while reading. On their first trip, Sam had an injury but still pressed on.
I laughed at their comic moment and also felt pity for them in their sorrowful state. Although faced with challenges and responsibilities, they were able to merge their careers and family responsibly. This book is exceptionally well edited. I therefore rate the book 5 out of 5.
I recommend this book to people who love exploring the outside world. People who like traveling will find this book interesting. Those who like adventure will also find this book interesting.
