Pete Hall's self-help book, Always Strive to Be a Better You, contains thirteen chapters that provide valuable life lessons on how to lead a productive life in various areas such as career, family, and relationships. The book starts by encouraging readers to understand themselves better by asking questions and examining their perceptions and how others perceive them. The author emphasizes the importance of having a clear understanding of oneself, including both one's own perception and others' views. To illustrate this point, the author uses examples of individuals like Andre Wicks, a veteran high school assistant principal who recognizes his imperfections and strives to evolve over time. The author also discusses "the Dunning-Kruger Effect" and how our "inner monologue" can affect our beliefs and perspectives on life. Chelsea Averna and Brooke Knight are also featured in the book as case studies. There is much to learn from this insightful book, and you are encouraged to check it out.

As a fan of self-help and motivational books, I appreciate how relatable they can be to life experiences and how they can inspire personal growth. In the book, I admire how the author uses real-life examples of successful people to illustrate the key lessons in each chapter. One such example is Chelsea Averna, who overcame a difficult childhood living in a car with divorced parents to achieve academic success. The book is well organized, starting with the importance of self-awareness and ending with practical tips for daily life. Each chapter contains valuable keys to success that can aid in personal development. Overall, I appreciate the impact this book can have on readers and the way it draws from real-life experiences to inspire personal growth. It is a valuable read for anyone seeking self-improvement and motivation.

On the negative side, the book is an amazing read and good for people of all ages, but this aspect of the book is difficult to discover. The writer did an amazing job of delivering the message to the reader and connecting with our inner core to establish the message of the book.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars because it offers valuable insights that are applicable to real-life situations. One of the most impactful chapters for me was chapter four, where the author discusses the importance of surrounding oneself with like-minded individuals who are also striving for progress and success. He emphasizes the negative effects of peer pressure and advises readers to separate themselves from individuals who do not share their values and goals. Instead, he encourages readers to build relationships with individuals he refers to as "antelopes," who are motivated and goal-driven. This chapter resonated with me and has helped me select my friends wisely. In addition to its valuable content, the book is also exceptionally well edited, with no errors that I noticed while reading it.

For those interested in self-help and personal development books, I highly recommend this book. It provides important strategies for achieving success and making an impact in the world. Additionally, readers will become acquainted with notable individuals who have excelled in their careers, families, and other areas of life.
