Always Strive to be a Better You: How Ordinary People Can Live Extraordinary Lives by Pete Hall is a non-fiction novel about tips people can use to change their lives. The author uses seven subjects with different lives to explain the tips people can use to change their lives. It contains 13 lessons readers can use to change their lives. He talks about the lesson of cleaning your mirror, which means not letting external perceptions and expectations of others define you. A well-rounded person requires mind-body-spirit connections since they are important. It helps one understand that it is always bigger than you and work toward leaving it better than you found it. The book has many tips that can make people live extraordinary lives.

I liked how the author uses examples to explain the tips; for instance, he used the example of chasing a rabbit that you will never get to explain how chasing destiny works. It helps readers understand the tips better. I liked how he made the subjects familiar to the reader by giving a short introduction and their successes. It helped the reader understand why the author chose the subjects and how they relate to the book's title. Finally, I liked the "PAUSE and REFLECT" part of the novel. It helped the reader reflect on what the book was about and kept them attentive.

I have nothing to dislike in the book. Many people have difficulties in living successful lives, but with these tips, they can have hope.

I rate Always Strive to be a Better You: How Ordinary People Can Live Extraordinary Lives by Pete Hall five out of five stars. It was exceptionally edited because I couldn't discover any errors. The tips the author provides are helpful, and the seven subjects he used can become mentors for people who wish to change their lives. He used different techniques to make readers understand, such as examples and questions they needed to ask themselves. With all these, I think the book deserves a perfect rating.

I recommend this book to young adults because many do not know how to change their lives. The book provides tips used by the seven subjects to make their lives better. Young adults can use the tips to better their lives.
