Audible
Audible is a website to use to find and buy audible books in different types of formats run by amazon. It ranges from non-fiction to fiction books and mystery to romance. There are a few different features within the Audible app to make it user friendly. Some of these features include a library to where all your books download to the cloud, an option to shop for books within the app itself, as well as the list of recommended of other titles based on your purchases from Audible, and Stats feature that shows how long you've been listening to books and gives you badges after different levels.
Some of the things I did like about the app is how user friendly it is, the range of books and authors they offer, as well the pricing option for memberships by the month. As well as, the library and recommended book list features with the app that makes it easy to find your books. It is user friendly because of it’s easy to use apps that can be used on just about any device from your android phone to your laptop and iPad. It makes it easier to take and use it anywhere you go. As someone who loves to read every different genre, I love that the books that Audible makes available to download range from one genre to another from fiction to nonfiction. It’s great to have so many different options of authors to choose and read from on the site. Another great thing is the membership options for pricing from once a month to once a year. For those readers on a budget it’s good thing to be able change from one plan to another at any time.
There wasn’t much that I dislike about Audible really just a few small things that come to mind. One of the features that I believe needs a little work was the Stats feature. Just glancing through this feature it seems like it would take a long time to earn any of badges they offer. I think it would be better if you earned a badge once you finished one book instead of the hours it took to listen it. It would be more incentive to get more books and finish them than to take longer time to finish the first book. The only other thing I didn’t really care for was the voice they used for the book reader. The voice was kind of slow and dry sounding. Those two things are the only parts I would change about using Audible.
The rating I would give to Audible would be a 4 out of 4 stars. I think all in all it’s a great site to use for audible books, the site only had two problems I would change about it. Even those two problems I had are small things and not that big of a deal to really stop someone from using the site or Audible apps. So I believe it earns the 4 out of 4 instead of the 3 out of 4 stars.
Would I recommend the site and apps to anyone? Yes I most certainly will recommend this to the people I work with and on my blog as well. I believe it being so easy to use it will be good for anyone of any age range to use. In the end after using the app for my android I will be keeping my membership with Audible and downloading many more books in the future.
