[Following is a volunteer review of "We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies" by Matthew Tysz.]
Trying to survive in a war-torn country proved futile; Galen had to escape to another country in order to survive and meet his obligations. We are Voulhire:A New Arrival under Great Skies is an interesting work of fiction about the struggle for power by those in authority and the struggle for survival by someone like Galen.
This interesting fiction is about a young man named Galen from war-torn Lands of the Princes. Galen has been vested with the responsibility of continuing his uncle's smithing business. With the raging war in the Lands of the Princes, he escapes to Voulhire in order to carry on with this task. In Voulhire, he meets Rowan, his uncle's executor, who helps him gain balance in his business and familiarity with the new environment. Voulhire seems promising but certain powers threaten the peace of this country. King Wilhelm of Voulhire is in a tussle with the chancellor of the Mianoran Council because he fears being overthrown as king. This poses a threat to the peace of Voulhire. Meanwhile, Eldus, a former judge, becomes the new lord of Hillport. He must protect the people from a gang of rebels called Riva Rohavi while trying to right the wrongs of his predecessors. Will Galen successfully carry on with his uncle's business in Voulhire? Or will he have to relocate to another country due to the uncertainty in Voulhire?
We are Voulhire:A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz is an amazing story. What I admire so much about this book is the author's creativity. The characters were developed, and the author took time to explain the events in clear language. I also love the prologue and the introductory aspect of this book. Another thing I enjoyed was the storyline and the characters of Galen and Rowan. I did not encounter any grammatical or typographical errors while reading, so my reading was smooth and uninterrupted.
I cannot think of anything I dislike about this book. Initially, I thought the storyline would be boring, but it turned out to be interesting. The title and book cover suit this book perfectly. I must commend Matthew Tysz for doing a good job creating this masterpiece.
I rate this book five out of five stars. It is indeed a nice one. It was professionally edited. I recommend this book to lovers of fiction and adventure.
