[Following is a volunteer review of "Unicorns Know Magic" by Charles Adkins.]

Charles T. Adkins' Unicorns Know Magic is a delightful children's storybook that chronicles the adventures of four friendly, talented, and fascinating unicorns who become neighbors to two children, the main character and his sister. As the story progresses, the children grow closer to Abby, Georgia, Bitsy, and Chase and discover their remarkable abilities. Abby can juggle many balls, Georgia can skate, Bitsy can stand on her head all day, and Chase can play any song on his guitar. The most incredible thing about these unicorns is their ability to fly and perform magic. The children's interactions with the unicorns lead to a series of exciting adventures and experiences.

The highlight of this storybook is its vibrant and colorful illustrations. The illustrations are a blend of bright and fanciful colors that are sure to capture a young reader's attention. Nearly every passage is accompanied by an illustration that vividly depicts the events described in the story. For instance, when the characters visit Paris and encounter the guards, the accompanying illustration helps the children understand and visualize the scene, making it easier for them to follow the story.

Additionally, the simple and straightforward language used in the storybook is impressive. The author employs a form of rhyme, making it easy for children to follow the plot. The story also imparts valuable life lessons to young readers, such as the importance of cleanliness and tidiness. The unicorns take responsibility for cleaning up after themselves, an excellent lesson for young readers to learn.

However, there are a few drawbacks to this storybook. Firstly, the text size is quite small, making it challenging to read at times. Secondly, the children in the story are not named and are only referred to as "my sister and I" from the perspective of the main character. Despite these minor flaws, I still highly recommend this storybook and give it a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. There were no errors. So, it’s exceptionally edited.

Unicorns Know Magic is an ideal read for children between the ages of 5 and 10. While a five-year-old child can read the storybook independently, parents can also read it aloud to younger children. Anyone seeking a quick and engaging storybook to pass the time will find this book to be a great pick.

This is an interesting children’s novel. I love how short and interesting it was. Not only that but it has lessons to teach the children just like you said.

Children are always baffled by the concept of the existence of unicorns and I think this book would really appeal to them on a large scale.

This book indeed has alot of fascinating for children and is colorful. But then I don't think there are much morals it teaches kids aside the fun.

The author's simple choice of words combined with the rhyming form of the plot will make the book interesting and enjoyable for the young reader, not just that, they will learn valuable life lessons. So alongside entertainment is morals. This is commendable. Great review!
