The non-fiction book titled Coming Full Circle: Using Psychedelics to Heal Trauma was written by Shannon Duncan. It acts as a manual for anyone looking to heal emotional wounds and traumatic experiences through psychedelic therapy. There are three parts and a total of eighteen chapters. The reader is given a brief introduction to psychedelics in the opening section, along with the author's use of them as a means of healing his emotional trauma. At this stage, the book offers a realistic portrayal of what trauma that has not responded to therapy can look like while directing the reader on a route to healing. The guided psychedelics healing process is covered in detail in the second section. The author instructs the reader on the roles and responsibilities of skilled and untrained professional guides during psychedelic sessions, as well as how a patient should prepare before embarking on one to maximize their benefits. The book's final chapter describes the author's successful recovery from his horrific childhood experiences.

I appreciated how well-versed the author is in psychedelics. He first lays a strong foundation for the importance, effects, and many classes of psychedelic drugs. The author continues by presenting a thorough grasp of the various professional guides and how they might be helpful at different stages of psychedelic healing. I learned that the key to using psychedelics effectively is to have the most thorough understanding of the trauma that led to a person's psychological problems. The writer takes us on a trip via his encounters and, later, his metamorphosis as a result of his life-altering experience working in medicine. The writing style of the author is excellent. Nothing in his narration baffled me because it is well-organized. The author has a strong writing style. As a result of his organized work, nothing in his narration confused me. There are observable amounts of insights in each chapter. It is this concrete knowledge in every chapter that the reader is given as a gift. Not to mention that the book is simple to pick up and read whenever you want because the author uses plain language to express the subject.

The book is fascinating, instructive, and fun to read. It's incredible how the author incorporated so many quotations at the beginning of each chapter. Each chapter is detailed and simple to understand. I didn't find anything about the book to be unappealing.

Since I found no typographical errors while reading, the book must have undergone professional editing. I'd rate the book 5 out of 5 stars.

The book is best suited to teenagers and adults who love reading non-fiction novels and are remotely curious about using psychedelics to heal emotional trauma.
