We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies is an epic fantasy novel that takes the reader on an engaging journey throughout the fictional and political world of Voulhire. The story revolves around Galen Bray, a refugee who, after losing his uncle to the cold hands of death, flees his war-torn homeland to search for greener pastures. He soon finds himself in Voulhire, a world of political intrigue, deceit, and danger that was where his late uncle lived. With the help of his loyal companion, Rowan, Galen sets out to expand his late uncle's steel company. However, will Galen be able to overcome the dark forces that torment him in the war-ravaged land of Voulhire? Grab a copy of this book to find out!

The world-building in this book is exceptional, and the author, Matthew Tysz, has created a richly detailed, vividly imagined world that is both immersive and captivating. The attention to detail in the characters, the settings, and the plot creates a strong sense of realism and believability, making the world of Voulhire feel like a place that truly exists.

The book introduces the reader to a wide cast of interesting characters, each with a unique backstory and personality. I found the glossary of words useful in understanding several confusing terms used throughout the book. I have no dislikes about this book; it is well-edited and contains no errors, and I have to commend Matthew Tysz for that.

The pacing of the story is well done, with the action and suspense building to a satisfying climax. The writing style is descriptive, bringing the story to life and making it easy to visualize the world and characters. I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars, as there's no reason to rate it any lower.

We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies is an excellent epic fantasy novel that is sure to fascinate fans of the genre. It has all the elements of a great story: intriguing characters, an immersive world, and a satisfying plot. It's definitely worth a read.

I agree with you. The world-building was quite exceptional. It was detailed; the description of the structure of Voulhire, the different towns and what they were known for, and the inclusion of a map. It gave the world a real quality, and it made it easy to truly immerse myself while I read this book. Awesome review!

I enjoyed reading this novel. Though it had some gory scenes but they are not so bad. I’ll really like to see more of Galen in the next books in the series.

People always move from one place to another in search of greener pastures. Galen is not an exception. But would Voulhire prove to be the promises land?

This book was quite complex for me but then there were alot of things I like about this book, especially the fact that it seemed like a movie. The narrative pattern is great.
