Always strive to be a better you by Pete hall is a motivational book, quite obvious isn't it?, but unlike most motivational books I've read, Always strive to be a better you touched the depth of my being, in a nutshell, it's worth the title.
The book basically starts off with a not so regular approach. Pete hall introduces seven different profiles of purpose-driven people with similar characteristics. He highlights their struggles, pursuits, commitments, potentials, talents and core values. In every chapter, there's a moral or valuable lesson to learn from these profiles. The best part of this is the fact that you as a reader can at some point relate with a profile in the book. This book will take you on a journey of self reflection and touch your core.

I love the writing style of this book, I encountered numerous positives. Firstly, this is not a regular book to just read through, it allows you to pause at different chapters. The self reflection exercise will make the book a more practical one if readers adhere to it.

In addition to this, like a dot, every chapter connects to making the reader a better person. The latter chapters encouraged self discovery. I believe self reflection helps to boost self discovery. While reading this book, I had to let go of some thinking patterns and emulate new ones as written by the author.

Furthermore, the antelope metaphor used as an example for fellowship stuck in my brain like glue. The author's ability to use real life scenarios as examples is top-notch. I also Love how he stressed quality relationship over quantity. This is indeed an essential issue to be addressed in the society. Everyone needs a social group they can be accountable to, one that'll enhance them instead of being parasitic.

Also.the author sets the pace for achieving goals by not being selfish but impactful. The more realize this fact the better, our gifts and purposes were given to us to improve humanity, not for our selfish interest.

Another aspect that stood out for me were the chapters that highlighted the struggles of the profiles in the book, this made the book More relatable. Certainly, in every high there must have been lows too.

In my opinion, this book was so good, I didn't come across any negative.

This book was also well edited, I didn't notice any error.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 .
I rate it 5 because it was perfectly written and resonated well with me as a reader.
Furthermore, I recommend this book to anyone who wants to live a very productive life, and quit negative behaviors.
