Tina Dreffin's memoir, Bluewater Walkabout: Into Africa, chronicles the thrilling family escapades that she, her husband Peter, and their two sons experienced in the African sea. The book depicts the horrifying events that the family encountered during their ocean voyage. Moreover, Tina provides readers with insight into her life before the journey, including how she met her husband and the circumstances that prompted their transatlantic expedition. The book also contains amusing and astonishing details about the family's antics that will keep readers captivated. Those who want to discover more about Tina's remarkable journey should obtain a copy of this book.

The writing style of the author is the standout feature of this book. Her vivid and descriptive account of the family's journey allows readers to imagine the events as if they were there. Compared to other memoirs I have read, this book's writing style is unique and captivating. The author also shares her past, struggles, and strengths in the book. She recounts her experience of being raped, the loss of a child, and health issues. Despite the difficulties she has faced, Tina possesses the resilience to appreciate the joys of life, making her more determined and stronger rather than becoming bitter and resentful.

The terrifying experience they had on their adventure astounded me. This experience is so terrible and dangerous that I don't think I'll ever follow through. They encountered several creatures in the water. Tina's interactions with the dolphin were adorable to read. The author's brave attitude is evident in the book. The book also talks about how much everyone in the family loves each other. This is an adventure in self-discovery, healing, and letting go of painful memories. No matter what challenges life presents, this tale will encourage and motivate the readers to take charge of their own lives.

The family traveled across the Atlantic to South Africa before returning to the Bahamas. They had spectacular interactions with everything from the seas on their boat to sharks and terrestrial creatures. Tina and her family began to appreciate Africa when they discovered it was not what they had expected.

There is nothing I dislike about this book. It is well-written and contains essential topics that many readers will find appealing. I like how the author explains her life honestly and without holding back on any details. As a wife, mother, and cancer patient, I understood her fear of losing herself. As a result, I rate Bluewater Walkabout: Into Africa five out of five stars. The book is exceptionally edited. There were no errors in the book. I recommend this book to anyone who is going through a difficult moment, as well as adventure seekers.

The way Tina Dreffin puts down her experiences for the reader to easily comprehend is highly commendable. A memoir filled with different interesting experiences of the author and her family. Thank you for your review.

I’ll say Tina is really a strong woman, seeing as she put her past behind her without even properly acknowledging them. I’ve heard people face the same and they ended up at a mental institute. I commend her strength.

The thing about adventure is that could be as intriguing as it is dangerous, but the danger is dependent on your type of adventure too. For Tina, this adventure had a deep meaning, and it's nice to see that it helped her overcome her pain and heal.
