Kelly and her husband, Tom Turbulo, thought they had chosen the best vacation spot until an incident proved otherwise. On a visit to La Pocilga (The Pigsty) for souvenir shopping, Kelly came face to face with a secret terrorist operation. Curiosity led the couple away from their romantic getaway and into a life of espionage. Apparently, there is a plot to attack North America, and they have to stop it at all costs despite the risk involved. The series of events that followed this discovery converge to make the best light-heart read packed with humour and action. Get a copy of E M P Honeymoon: Kelly & Tom by Dorothy May Mercer and peruse through its pages to get the intriguing details of this story.

The plot resonated with some realistic situations being faced in the world today. I liked how the author explored the topics of terrorism, espionage, and weaponry. Even with the gripping suspense, the book remained light-hearted because there was an inclusion of humour and realistic situations. Those contrasting elements provided the perfect atmosphere for an enjoyable read. I loved that the book contained no misspellings or grammatical errors. It was exceptionally well edited.

At some point in the story, it became hard to keep up with the characters. It felt like there was someone new every time a new chapter began. The focus was taken away from the main characters, Kelly and Tom; they almost became side characters as the story progressed.

The author could have his reasons for including a lot of characters in the story; I wouldn't hold that against him so much. I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. I didn't find the negative point so upsetting, so I didn't remove a star from the book.

Although the title suggests otherwise, the story doesn’t really contain much romance, but there are some hints of it throughout the book. So if you want a book that merges crime, thriller, mystery, horror, and romance in one story, check out E M P Honeymoon: Kelly & Tom by Dorothy May Mercer.

The review you gave offered valuable perspective on the characters, their bond, and their progression. I now possess a clear comprehension of what the book entails and can connect with Kelly and her spouse.
