As a young girl, Tina always loved adventures. It was not, therefore, surprising that she later married a man who was adventurous and loved sailing. She and her husband decided to take their sons on an adventure by sea to different countries. Their journey began when they traveled to South Africa with their two sons, Adam and Warren, to visit the Kruger National Park. They then went on an exciting adventure to Namibia and St. Helena before sailing to Brazil. However, their travels did not end there. Two of their sons' friends joined them at some point in the adventure. How would she be able to deal with the boys in this adventure to ensure their safety and sane behavior? Find out when you read Bluewater Walkabout: Into Africa by Tina Dreffin.

Tina's memoir is a remarkable story of perseverance, adventure, and love. It is an inspiring and heartwarming read that demonstrates the transformative power of travel and encourages readers to embrace new experiences and make the most of their lives. I love how open and inviting this book is. It gave me, as a reader, a blank slate to write what I want to do in life, irrespective of what life is giving me.

Tina's family encounters several hurdles and obstacles while traveling, and her memoir recounts these challenges in vivid detail. I so much love how well the author describes their experiences and how powerfully she wields her words. The narrative takes readers on a journey through the ups and downs of her family's adventures while also delving into the author's personal life, including how she met her husband and their past experiences. The book offers insights into the author's personal life, including her love story with her husband, which adds a romantic and emotional dimension to the narrative.

The book is an honest and compelling account of the difficulties and rewards of traveling with a family, from dealing with logistical challenges to experiencing cultural differences. Throughout the memoir, Tina shows resilience in the face of setbacks and a willingness to take risks and embrace new opportunities. Even in the face of experiencing difficulties that are peculiar to her as a woman, she recounts the experiences as the champion that she is.

I loved everything about this book, and I am happy to rate it 5 out of 5 stars. I also appreciate that the book was professionally edited. I would recommend this book to homeschooling parents who could appreciate the logistical challenges of teaching while keeping up with everyday life. I would also recommend it to readers who love memoirs and adventure books.

As someone who enjoys the sea, I found Bluewater Walkabout to be an incredible exploration of the cruising lifestyle. Tina Dreffin's anecdotes about life aboard the sailboat and the challenges she faced on the open water were both informative and entertaining
