"Donny and Mary Grace's California Adventures" is an engaging mystery novel that is part of "The Grandma Gang Mysteries" series by author Sharon Dunn. The story follows the adventures of two grandmothers, Donny and Mary Grace, who set out on a road trip to California in search of a missing granddaughter. Along the way, they encounter a series of mysterious events that they must solve in order to uncover the truth about what happened to their granddaughter.
The author does a great job of creating two lovable and determined protagonists in Donny and Mary Grace, who are not your typical elderly characters. They are witty, resourceful, and determined to find answers. The plot is well-crafted with several twists and turns that keep the reader engaged and guessing until the very end.
