[Following is a volunteer review of "Man Mission" by Eytan Uliel.]
Man Mission, written by Eytan Uliel, is a fictional book. The story centers around the exploits of four men over a fifteen-year period as they continuously look for exciting new adventures. The guys come together every year and embark on various exploits to prove to themselves that they are still men. The boys travel to a new destination each year, each one better than the last. Despite not being the best athletes in the world, they participate in a variety of physical activities, including kayaking and hiking. From their late twenties through their forties, the novel also follows their professional lives. The main characters are just starting their careers and have lofty aspirations. They steadily advance up their corporate ladders in the narrative, eventually growing frustrated with their decisions. In terms of their personal lives, the guys progressed from being single men to getting married, having kids, and eventually encountering rough seas.
It's wonderful how the author juggles the exciting Man Mission adventure with revealing details about each character's personal and professional lives. This book is a well-planned travel narrative with realistic details. Without emotion, the prospect of reality and adventurous dreams are intercepted. At points, the use of humor and sarcasm while addressing private matters was appealing to me. I think the author did a fantastic job of clarifying some of the terminologies used during the voyage between the various countries, which really helped with comprehension of the surroundings.
There was nothing that I disliked about the book; it was intriguing and well-written. I enjoyed every aspect of it. The narrative is made much more fascinating by the fact that it was written in the first person. I have a personal connection to this book. I think the author did a stunning job of clarifying some of the terminologies used during the voyage between the various countries, which really helped with comprehension of the surroundings.
Furthermore, I found it difficult to put the book down because of how engaging the author managed to keep it. There were no grammatical errors or mistakes in it. Therefore, it was exceptionally well edited. As a result, I am rating this book, Man Mission, 5 out of 5 stars. I enjoyed reading this book from the beginning to the end. I must congratulate the author for writing such a thoughtful and provocative book.
Furthermore, I recommend this book, Man Mission, to readers who enjoy adventure and traveling.
