It is not a new thing for someone to leave his or her country for another. Many reasons could lead to this: to stay with a relative, for business purposes, or to seek refuge. We are Voulhire A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz is a fictional book centered on a young man named Galen who escaped from the land of the Princes into the prestigious country of Voulhire in search of safety and to meet his dying uncle, who was a great blacksmith in Magnum Caelum (a city in Voulhire), and inherit the blacksmith business.

It also talked about Hilport, another city in Voulhire, which had lost two lords in a matter of months, causing the king to send Lord Eldus Alderman to salvage the situation of the city. Will Lord Eldus succeed? Also, will Galen become the blacksmith his uncle desires him to be? Read this book and find out the answers to these questions.

We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz is a great book with a lot of positive aspects. Several virtues could be learned from the book, such as unity (as displayed by the Alderman family, Riva Rohavi, etc.), sincerity (as displayed by Rowan), and the display of wisdom and tactfulness as portrayed by King Wilhelm. Lord Eldus' passion and drive to restore the city are worth commending. I also appreciated the wifely support and understanding portrayed by Mrs. Alderman for her husband, even knowing the somewhat daunting task he was facing. Several virtues could be learned from the book.

I also noticed the style with which the author divided the book, not the conventional chapter pattern, which I didn’t like at first. This is because it got me a bit confused initially, but I somewhat found it beautiful as I progressed. After all, it made the book seem like a movie. The display of magic made it seem so. Aside from this, there was nothing else that I disliked about the book.

I also didn’t notice any errors in the book, which signifies that it was exceptionally edited. Hence, due to all these positive aspects of the book, I would give it a rating of five out of five stars. I couldn’t deduct any stars because I found the book engaging. I would recommend this book to those who love fictional kinds of literature because it contains magical displays.

What is power without contentions and killings? The concept of power is really difficult to explain. Nice review!

The land of the princes was not a place for any sane person to live, because of the west for lower among the four brothers. Galen had to escape to Voulhire which presented a better opportunity for him. Nice write-up.

The toxicity of power intoxication, something that should be avoided at all cost. Nice Review all the same. 😘

People leave their country to search for greener pastures. I wonder if the desires of the uncle would be established.

I learned from this book that giving power to umderserving people causes wars. War broke out between the princes when their father gave them power to rule over small kingdoms.
