[Following is a volunteer review of "Man Mission" by Eytan Uliel.]
Man Mission by Eytan Uliel is a combination of fifteen adventures. The narrator, Sam, Alec, and Daniel, decided to go on a trip annually where they had the freedom to do everything they wanted. Sam suggested it, claiming it would be a week of fun where they get away from all commitments and do things that never happen in reality. They thought about hiking in New Zealand; it became their first adventure. They visited other places such as Andalusia, Spain; Seoul, South Korea; Kruger National Park, South Africa; and Hoi An, Vietnam. They made rules accompanying their annual trips, such as it was for men only and bathing was optional.
The book had many things that were enjoyable to the reader. I enjoyed the adventures in the novel. Each of them had a unique thing the four men explored, for example, the roaring lion in Kruger National Park in South Africa and ice slides in Iceland. There was a map at the beginning of the chapters. He started each adventure with a map of the place of the adventure; for instance, the map of New Zealand showed different adventure places and clues about what to expect. It kept the reader on their toes to find the meaning of the symbols on the map. The author concluded each chapter with a summary. The summary mentioned the key things in the adventure, such as the name of the place, transport mode, injuries, and accommodation. It helped readers remember important things they may have forgotten about the trip.
I have nothing to criticize in the book. I enjoyed each adventure in the book and how the four Australians balanced work, marriage, and fun.
I rate Man Mission by Eytan Uliel five out of five stars. The book was professionally edited since it had a mistake. The book had several positive aspects. The adventures were enjoyable and lively since each adventure had something unique about it; for instance, Sam and the narrator's encounter with drug dealers in New Zealand. The author effectively used maps to begin each chapter capturing the reader's attention to show them the beginning of the Journey. He summarized the adventures mentioning the main pillars of the adventures. With all these, the book qualifies for a perfect rating.
I recommend the book to lovers of adventure novels. It is a perfect adventure novel that puts together fifteen adventures worldwide, each done annually. The adventures have unique experiences, making readers love them.
