[Following is a volunteer review of "E M P Honeymoon" by Dorothy May Mercer.]
The electromagnetic pulse explosion that was meant for the United States of America would have been successful without any hindrance if not for the honeymoon of Tom Turbulo and Kelly McBride in E M P Honeymoon by Dorothy May Mercer. When they were on their honeymoon after marriage, they tried as much as possible to ensure that their honeymoon was unforgettable by exploring different places. It was while on the lookout for beautiful places that Kelly found out that a group of terrorists were planning this huge electromagnetic pulse explosion on America. She would also not have known if she had not gone to the store where she found them. How was she able to know that the store harbored these people for evil acts? Did Tom also discover anything of the sort in the place he went to? You will find the full information after reading the book.
I liked the book to a great extent. It was amazing how a honeymoon that was supposed to be all about fun alone now turned out to be about the revelation of evil deeds yet to be carried out. The fact that the couple did not run back home after this incident is another aspect of the book that I enjoyed. Many couples would have halted their honeymoon if something like this happened to them, not bothering about the effect it would have on the lives of many Americans. I also enjoyed the free flow of the plot; it was amazing. Reading about the fame of Senator Mike was another thing I liked about the book. He was the brother of Kelly in the book, and his role suits him well. I enjoyed his character as a whole.
I must say that the good aspects of the book that I've talked about above made it difficult for me to point out negative things in the book. So, I enjoyed the book, and I did not dislike anything in it.
I will have no reason to deduct the actual rating I was supposed to give the book since I've stated that the book was perfect with no negatives. I, therefore, rate it five out of five stars. The book was professionally edited, which means that I came across just a few errors in it.
I recommend that many people read this book. In fact, couples are the people I highly recommend the book to. They will learn how to deal with issues after marriage like Kelly and Tom did without having to run away from those issues.
