There are terrorist threats in Crescent, a small beach town on the Florida coast. FBI special agents George Gonzalez, Martin Williams, and Betty Sato set out to solve this case before lives are lost. The town's Deputy, JP Barnett, seems not at all serious and not willing to help them on this case. More surprisingly, the people of the town have more trust in him than in the FBI agents. How is this mystery going to be solved?

The Raven Conspiracy is a thriller, mystery, and comedy novel by Michael Spratt. Michael does a wonderful job of uniquely developing scenes and characters, allowing the reader to know and get attached to them. He also does a fantastic job in describing the ways of life at the beach. There is some politics, especially about Cuba and its leaders, and some information about homosexuality. It is exceptionally well-edited, and I believe a professional did a great job editing this book.

I liked the characters in this book. The humorous character of Deputy JP Barnett and the way he does his work is fascinating. I found Agent Sato's knowledgeable mind-opening. Andrew's reasoning and the way he challenges seniors are also great. I liked that this book highlights some advancements going on in the world, like AI, and the need not to neglect ancient things like treatments for some illness, as they may still be crucial.

What I disliked most is that the characters made some comments about certain beliefs and beings like God, angels, and spirits some people may find sensitive. All in all, I enjoyed reading this book.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars because of the humor and the bit of suspense found in it. I recommend it to all people who enjoy comedy and mystery novels as they will find this story intriguing.
