Fantasy is fantastic; this is the conclusion I came to after reading this novel. Especially if the fiction is mixed with a bit of spirituality, a dash of science, and tons of imagination. The book makes me question if there is the potential for this to truly happen, even though I knew it was nonfiction all along. The book is able to balance all religions and arrive at a neutral ground on which no group of religion would feel left out in the manner in which it transmits its message. The fantasy is pretty enticing and realistic; it is not just all about beautiful roses and stunning scenery but also poor countries and crumbling buildings with poverty, which is fairly accurate because nothing is flawless in this world.

The author made a country in his thoughts, "Voulhire," full of arts, growth, magic, and many more, just as humans are prone to be. Some characters started being greedy, ambitious, and careless of the good things around them to the point where they grew discontent with the things they had. Power disputes led to the deaths of many innocent people. Unpatriotic attitudes toward the throne resulted in numerous tragic results, and everything went crazy. The incursion of the magical realm into the physical realm provided numerous possibilities. Will the citizens of this lovely country be able to survive this invasion, or will they yield to the higher being? Is magic something to crave and die for? These questions and others like them are what the author describes in this story and tries to address.

We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz is a terrific book and extremely engaging. The plot is loaded with suspense, exciting events, and the roller coaster emotions of the characters. The plot progression is extremely spectacular, displaying different parts of life and their reception and attitude to change.

As much as I would love to praise this amazing novel, one of my major concerns is the diverse storyline, setting, and characters. The characters are fairly many, and sometimes I forgot which one was living in what place or even their names, but the author did ensure that each individual is a hero in his or her own universe, which means that readers can have two or three heroes they root for.

I have come to the judgment that even though I am a bit confused with names, this book merits 5 out of 5 stars. It meets all the prerequisites of a good read and also shows the concern given to readers by ensuring the book is free of faults by editing it so carefully.

I enthusiastically suggest this book to all fantasy enthusiasts because it contains the necessary ingredients to make readers captivated to their chairs and read all through the night, just like I did. Though I will urge you to prepare to check your dictionary or the book glossary if you get lost, Welcome to Voulhire!
