Review of E M P Honeymoon
Two lovebirds were going to finally see their dreams and imaginations come true as they took off for the honeymoon Kelly had spent hours and weeks choosing. It was on a Caribbean island, a place with a beautiful landscape and natural disposition. How did the honeymoon go? Were there any contradictions?
This book contains a lot of enchanting characters. McBride; a crusading senator of the United States, Tim; Carson City police, Cynthia; McBride personal security, Kelly, Steve, Sky, and more. They put in collective efforts to fight and eliminate their terrorists and save their country from suffering and egregious loss, which would have put the country in a state of mourning.
Tom, on his honeymoon, went out to dive on a boat, whereas Kelly went to get some gifts from a pigsty shop. Fortunately and unfortunately, she saw a high-tech lab, which all seemed weird. What will this kind of technology be doing in a disguised store? All hands on deck and all force teams started the operation as they feared an attack on the US.
My encounter with this book was sure to be a tremendous one. I enjoyed the thrilling scenes in this book. I also loved the way technology was harnessed in this book; paradoxically, this book is revealing what the future will look like as technology advances. I was a lot puzzled reading about the terrorist's plan of attack. It would have caused a lot of damage if they were successful. I also enjoyed the role the terrorists played in this book. Though Colonel Rhee Su-jin's role seemed more interesting to me.
The only flaw I witnessed while reading this book was in the development of the antagonist's characters. It felt like, with their high-tech knowledge, they should be brutal and tough enough for the US and Canada, but the way they were tackled seemed a bit easy to me. Other than this, I had no issues with this book. I did not see any errors in this book, which shows that it was exceptionally well-edited by the author.
I rate this book, E M P Honeymoon by Dorothy May Mercer, 5 out of 5 stars. I did not see any reason to deduct any stars from this book, as it satisfied my enthusiasm for it. I commend the author for this. I recommend this science fiction book to people who love books full of action and thrilling scenes. Have a fun read.
