The story of the cat detective centers on fun detective animals as they adventure on the Korean Peninsula. Inca, a snoopy cat, is the head of a detective agency. Going along with her in her detective assignments are Fromage, Inca's brother, a cheese expert; Cara, the blue-eyed sister of Inca; Terrance, a faithful dog; and Charlotte, the cute hamster.

Their human mom, Missy, plans to visit Seoul, where she is to present her newly produced cheese and then judge an international culinary competition between South and North Korean chefs. In Korea, she encounters a lot of trouble, which is hard to navigate. How does she cope? Read Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi to find out.

I love how they supported their mom after they found out she was going to the competition. Also, the suspense in the book made it more fun, and it was moderate. I also like the love and harmony in the Inca family and how they stick to one another. I also liked how the author made use of pictorial illustrations to depict each of the characters in the book.

However, the only thing I didn’t like in the novel was Fromage’s attitude, which seemed too arrogant when he didn’t acknowledge the cooperation of the other characters in the event. Aside from that, there was nothing else I disliked about the book.

I did not encounter any errors in this book, which indicates that the book was well-edited and that the author did a good job. I give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. My dislikes aren't enough to remove a star. This book taught me a lot and would be beneficial to readers. I like how the author talked about why South Korea and North Korea split up. It was interesting and made the book fun to read. It is essential to learn history because it helps us understand the political aspect of society. I recommend this book to children who love reading books filled with suspense, action, and drama.
