Wack City by Miko Montgomery is a thrilling and authentic book that provides readers with a glimpse into the true essence of Las Vegas. Through its captivating short stories, the book takes readers on an insightful and wild journey through the heart of Sin City.

The story begins with Jill Levy, who arrives in Las Vegas from L.A. in search of closure. Struggling to find a cab due to heavy airport traffic, she encounters Reuben, a driver who offers to take her to her destination. During their trip, Reuben learns that Jill is a film industry producer. He proposes a deal: he will pitch his ideas to her in exchange for professional feedback and help secure a room for the night. Jill agrees but has other plans in mind.

This book excels at bringing characters to life through vivid descriptions. I particularly enjoyed the ghost story of Roland Phoenix and the character of Gina. The author's ability to paint a clear image of each character is impressive. Montgomery's engaging and immersive writing style keeps readers captivated. While the book's graphic content may not appeal to everyone, it offers a powerful and evocative portrayal of Las Vegas. I highly recommend it to fans of horror, and ghost stories, and those seeking a genuine understanding of the real Las Vegas.

This captivating book has no shortcomings. It delivers a thrilling and intellectually stimulating reading experience, providing both entertainment and valuable insights. Through its unique perspective, the book challenges the romanticized and idealized portrayal of a city commonly found in mainstream media, offering a refreshing and innovative interpretation.

I gave this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars due to its enthralling and captivating nature, making it impossible to resist. The author's remarkable talent for bringing each character to life creates an unforgettable reading journey. Moreover, the book stands out for its professional editing and flawless execution, ensuring an error-free experience.
