Deepika and Priyanka, a quick-witted, enigmatic, and infinitely curious pair of sisters, go to sleep only to realise that, in their dreams, they are on their way to heaven. They were taken to heaven by angels, who gifted them with beautiful wings. In heaven, they meet Jesus, who is very kind to them. They tour heaven and hell, listing the differences in their experiences. On waking up, they mention this experience to their parents, who listen attentively to the girls. Jemima Paul, their mother, is an avid believer in visions. She takes it upon herself to share their story. Priyanka and Deepika are four and two, respectively, yet their young age does not deter their parents from sharing their story.

I love how Jemima let the voices of her daughters shine through the book. Indeed, many phrases mentioned in the book were strikingly similar to those in the video tapes. Many scenarios in their dreams were backed up by quotes from the Bible. The narration was simple and easy to follow. Another fascinating aspect of the story was that Jemima included her own interpretation of their dream yet did not downgrade their imagination. There were drawings of heaven, with rainbows and glitter, and hell, with demons. I was also surprised to see Halloween in a new light. Jemima has also provided links to YouTube videos which are quite interesting. This book will help anyone strengthen their faith in Christianity. The nonfiction was professionally edited, with no grammatical errors that I could spot.

There was nothing I disliked about the book, but rather, I feel it should be on the shelves of every Christian child. Due to the above, I rate Snatched Up to Heaven five out of five stars. This is a must-read for every Christian child, but it is not limited to a fixed age group. Adults and teenagers will also enjoy it. If you are looking for a religious reading, you have stumbled upon the right one.
