[Following is a volunteer review of "Reconfigurement" by E. Alan Fleischauer.]
Most people have made lots of mistakes that they regret in their old age. I believe it is a time when people are meant to rest. The question is, Have you planned for your future? How do you want to live in your time of rest? Or Will you depend on your kids? The future is unforeseeable. This book, Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer, is top-notch when it comes to planning, choosing career prospects, and other vital information needed about retirement.
This book has lots of interesting information. The author started by discussing the percentage of Americans' lifespan. He mentioned a lot of ways to survive financially in your old age. Retirement is a sure thing. Your career choice affects your sunset days. E. Alan Fleischauer made his audience understand that your career alone can be a source of happiness that extends your lifespan. He also gave tips on how to change your career if it is with a nonprofit without affecting your plans.
Every part of this book is informative. I love the author's tone and his writing style. He went straight to the point in his writing. I also liked the length of the book. I didn't find any part of the book boring, as the author shared some jokes in the book that created room for fun. The author used some of his life experiences to give examples in the book. I must say this was truly a good piece of work. The references given in the book were also helpful while reading.
The insurance aspect of this book got me. I was impressed that the author was detailed in this aspect. There are lots of insurance policies people can start that will be helpful in retirement.
I have a few issues with this book. The only issue I had was that the author spoke basically about the Americans. A lot of the things said in this book are not practiced globally. I think the author was directly talking to the Americans. I must say I found the insurance aspect useful where I live. I found no errors in this book. This book is exceptionally edited. I love the book cover; it is so simple.
I rate the book Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer 5 out of 5 stars. I think the shortcoming above will not affect some readers, so I see no reason to deduct a star from this book. I recommend this book to people who reside in the US and also to people who have an interest in family planning.
