We Are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies is the first book in Matthew Tysz's fantasy novel series about a foreigner named Galen Bray who successfully escapes from his war-torn country and to his dead uncle's home in Magnum Callum, Voulhire, where he is exposed to a better life and opportunities he could never have imagined in the Lands of the Princes. Galen Bray has yet to realise how ambitious, destructive, and power-hungry certain residents of this sophisticated, knowledgeable, and difficult society are on closer inspection, with no clue how much he may be influenced.

The novel had a shifting point of view, and I liked the author's narration style and the clarity with which they delivered their narrative. I'm not usually a lover of fantasy books, but I really loved this book and eagerly await the next installment in this series. The author used simple terms, and I sometimes forgot I was reading a fantasy tale since the book flowed so well and was so engaging. I could definitely see the written scenarios and the characters' emotions. I liked how the author included a map of Voulhire's nation at the beginning of their book, as well as a well-detailed reference guide in alphabetical order for those like me who had never read about Voulhire with spellings that made pronunciation simple, and I found it to be extremely useful. Matthew Tysz also included a link for those who wish to learn more about Voulhire's history.

There was nothing I hated about this book. The book has been thoroughly edited, and no grammatical errors have been discovered.

I give this book 5 out of 5 stars. The book is a great discovery and a great read that I suggest to everyone. You won't be sorry if you read it.

I suggest this book to people who like fantasy, fiction, science fiction, and criminal fiction. The plot advancement was even-paced, and although the book was fascinating to read, it is also appropriate for someone who simply wants to relax with a nice novel. I would not suggest this book to anyone who is not comfortable with profanity.
