[Following is a volunteer review of "Thriving in the Storm" by Bill Murphy.]
Thank you for letting me preview this book. I enjoyed it. I couldn't put it down. I'm going to recommend it to everyone I know! It is a fast read. Great motivational book. It really puts into perspective how sometimes we all just need to take a minute and review our own lives and what we want out of it. There were many times I could totally relate to the author and it made me feel normal. I now have the tools I need to try and work through my own issues. I felt really bad at times for the author, but at the end he redeemed himself with confidence and control of his life. Sometimes unexpected things can happen in our lives, and we just have to deal with them. After reading this book, I have taken a lot of thought as to how I want to continue to live my own life. This book was motivational, inspirational, and relatable. I really hope this author continues to write books about self improvement. I hope others who read this book and are suffering can find a light at the end of the tunnel after reading this book. I usually read fiction books but once in a while I read non fiction as well. I have set many goals for myself after reading this book. I realize I need to follow through with my hopes and dreams, no matter what age you are. Do whatever makes you happier. We need more happy people in this world.
