This book is a riveting read from beginning to end because of Mercer's skill at creating a gripping story that is full of tension and heart-pounding action. The narrative follows newlyweds Kelly and Tom on their honeymoon. They have no idea that their romantic retreat will quickly turn into a struggle for survival. Kelly's life is in danger during her honeymoon when she runs across a bunch of terrorists who are preparing an attack on North America. Kelly calls her brother, Senator Mike, for assistance. Mercer's deft character development is one of this book's most notable features. Tom and Kelly, the two well-rounded and relatable heroes, must make many tough choices and overcome many obstacles on their journey. This book was exceptionally well edited, and there were no grammatical mistakes. I had nothing against it. The author did a fantastic job with this novel, and I'd like to read more of her writing. I give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars.

By portraying a story of survival, love, and the unbreakable human spirit, the author displays her storytelling talent.
