[Following is a volunteer review of "A Voice from Heaven" by Alexander V Girman & Cynthia J Girman.]

A Voice From Heaven by Alexander V. Girman and Cynthia J. Girman is a titillating, emotional, and extravagant view of the afterlife, human purpose, love, family, and life. It rattles the cages of what we know life to be and forces us to examine our preconceived notions of what the afterlife could be. It does not attempt to alter one's spiritual beliefs but merely attempts to expand and enrich them.

I found myself enthralled from start to finish. It captivated me in such a way that I lost myself in all the possibilities of the world, the afterlife, and life beyond the realm humans can perceive. I'm transfixed, and my beliefs have been radically shaken. I've been left with a soothing feeling of having glimpsed profound knowledge upon finishing this book.

From the very start, we are introduced to Cynthia and her deceased son, Alec. The mere thought that someone who has passed on can communicate so clearly with someone living is both riveting and astounding. The vivid pictures they construct of the landscape of Heaven and the resounding peace, love, hope, and transcendent being that it showers are beyond simple words, yet they did such great work conveying them that one could feel them resonating off the pages.

I found nothing except one bad thing about this book; certain lines and phrases were repeated so often that it disrupted the flow. However, except for this minor issue, the book is heavenly.

It was spectacularly edited; you could tell the editor took their time and was dedicated to it, as there were barely any errors. It gets a beautiful, magical five out of five stars from me. It was beautiful in every sense of the word.

Every single person in this world should read this book, no matter their religion or lack thereof. It does not advocate for a specific religion - though it leans somewhat towards one - but merely attempts to answer some of the questions most of us have regarding the afterlife.

I really enjoyed the book, though. To this day I'm still thinking about it. Just the version of the afterlife it paints for me is just beautiful and makes me want to experience it myself. It's the kind of afterlife I'd love to go to ultimately. If you ever get to reading it, I'll be very excited to read about your thoughts!

Thank you for the wonderful comment. I enjoyed this book. I can't stop gushing over it. And to think I nearly didn't pick it up because I thought it was intended to point or change one's religious beliefs but it was absolutely not that. Just a perfect read.

Afterlife: I think that this topic was and still is a matter of constant controversy. Your review is touching. The story of the mother’s bond with her son is certain to be full of feelings, and the amount of feelings here could be beyond my ability, but I am sure of the magnificence of the story based on your wonderful review. Well expressed. Mentioning that it is suitable for all religions was a good point, as it is sometimes not clear.

This review is exceptional. This book seems to be an emotional subject. I think that losing a child is a grievance like no other. I like how the author describes the conversations her and her son had via the afterlife. But I wonder if some of it was due to her grievance and her desire to reconnect with her son who she lost.
