Little did they know that their romantic escapade would soon become entangled in a national crisis triggered by an electromagnetic pulse attack from space.

From Kelly's accidental discovery of a high-tech laboratory in a tiny gift shop to Tom's dive boat explorations, the plot is meticulously crafted, keeping readers engaged throughout.

What truly sets this book apart is the seamless integration of scientific principles into the narrative. Mercer carefully explains the concept of an Electro-Magnetic Pulse and its potentially devastating consequences.
