The book Reconfigurement is a first edition non-fictional book to help the readers with finance and becoming entrepreneurs like the author, E. Alan Fleischauer. This book is to help the readers build financial stability over time also known as slogging, or to plan ahead of time. This book is short, humorous, and easy to read. The author really knows what he is talking about. Fleischauer is a sixty four year old man who has been a financial advisor for over twenty years. Not to mention Fleischauer was educated by the American College of Financial services. Fleischauer's book is a great source for anyone looking to retire early or happily. According to Fleischauer you can start getting ready for retirement at any age, if that's not a win I don't know what is. Fleischauer also makes sure that the reader is aware that reconfiguration is not an easy task especially if you don't have a steady income while trying to reconfigure your finances. Another thing I would like to note about this book is how appreciative the author is towards his readers and educators. Fleischauer touches on so many important topics relating to retirement, budgeting, and reconfiguration. Some of those topics include but are not limited to; starting a new business, beginning part- time work, helping others, budgeting, long- term care, social security timing, travel, the types of lifestyles, and even what happens after someone dies. I would also like to note that while reading this book I did not find any curse words or typos. Overall I would give this book a four out of five star rating because the book is very informative, humorous, and short. The only reason I did not give the book a five star rating is because no matter how humorous the book was it was still slightly boring.

This book is unique to me. It is one of the very few financial advising authors that talked about retirement. It jolted me to the reality that I won't remain in my prime forever. So I will do my best to apply the suggestions given in this book on how to plan for retirement.
