[Following is a volunteer review of "E M P Honeymoon" by Dorothy May Mercer.]
Kelly and Tom are newlyweds who spent their honeymoon at the Barefoot Sands Resort and Spa in Honduras. Kelly is attacked in what she believed was a gift shop, but it turns out to be a front for a terrorist organisation. Kelly flees the business and alerts her brother, Senator Mike, a federal official. They undertake an exciting investigation to foil the impending terrorist attack on America with the help of Kelly's brother, Senator Mike, and Tom, a sergeant in the Carson City Police Department.
As they investigate further, they discover unexpected twists, such as a young colonel named Su-jin and her undercover mission at the same resort. The plot unfolds with suspense, action, and surprising alliances, challenging Tom and Kelly to rescue their country while also salvaging their once-in-a-lifetime honeymoon. Dorothy May Mercer's E M P Honeymoon is a captivating story that holds readers' attention until the very end. This book should be read.
The plot of the novel is engaging and thrilling, with plenty of suspense and action scenes. The presence of a terrorist faction and a high-stakes survival mission may heighten the story's anxiety and suspense. The plot centres around a couple's commitment to preserve their country and avert a terrorist assault, demonstrating their bravery and loyalty. The anecdote demonstrates the value of teamwork and collaboration. To safeguard their country and solve the convoluted mystery, the pair teams up with the proper authorities, including Kelly's brother, a senator. This emphasises the significance of collaborating to achieve common goals. The location of a tranquil Honduran resort gives an exotic and adventurous touch to the plot. The book is exceptionally well edited. There were no grammatical errors that I discovered.
I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars because of the things I liked about it and because there were no negative sides to it. This book is educational in and of itself because it delves into the ethical concerns of utilising EMP. Nuclear weapons could be rendered inoperable by EMP, preventing their use. During a battle, EMP could be used to interrupt communications, making it more difficult for enemies to coordinate their attacks. EMP might be used to launch a "cyberwarfare" attack that would disable hostile computer systems. I enjoyed learning a new word after finishing this exciting book. This book is recommended for readers who appreciate exciting thrillers with well-developed characters as well as crime and action stories.
