Snatched Up to Heaven, by Jemima Paul and Arvind Paul, is a Christian-themed book that takes us into the experiences of their two daughters. They both had dreams and visions at the tender ages of two and four of being taken to Heaven and Hell. The book is divided into two parts. The first section is about what they experienced in Heaven, and the second part is about their experience in Hell.

The author explained the encounters as closely as possible to the way her daughters would have explained it to them. She also used Bible scriptures to help interpret the dreams and what each scenario meant. She was captivated by the explanations of each child because it was beyond the capacity of two- and four-year-olds to be so descriptive. Also, it was closely related to what has been written in the Bible, even though they were not previously educated on the topics.

What I liked about the book is the use of the Word of God to lay the foundation on which each meaning would be derived. I also liked that she did not take away from the childish descriptions her daughters would have given; she kept it as close as possible to the stories. The book is written in simple English term, which makes it easy to read and understand for pre-teens, teens, and adults.

In conclusion, there isn’t anything I didn't like about the book. The message of the book is clear. There is also a prayer at the end that can be said to invite Jesus into your life. There were a couple of minor grammatical errors, but they were in no way distracting while reading or taking away from the essence of the story.

I give this book 5 out of 5 stars. It is a good inspirational book for young children, pre-teens, young adults, and every Christian desirous of drawing closer to God.
