Review of Reconfigurement
Reconfigurement, a brilliantly written book by E. Alan Fleischauer, claims to ease our worries about maintaining an enjoyable lifestyle even after retirement. It motivates us to make preparations while living life to the fullest. The book's legitimacy is boosted by the author's background and extensive financial advisory expertise.
The author of the book makes the argument that 50 is the new 30, which compels us to review our financial plans. The author identifies a number of shortcomings in the majority of current asset-based retirement plans. He dispels misconceptions and paints a precise picture of what to look for in a retirement plan that actually works. Reconfigurement is possible at any time, according to the book.
The title alone is intriguing. Because of the subtle humor and quips, the book never gets boring to read, even if it deals with the subject of financial management. To explain his points of view, the author has utilized straightforward language and simple vocabulary. While keeping the book concise, he provided extensive explanations of the many different topics. The book discusses a number of other facets of financial management, such as health insurance, investment, etc., in addition to retirement plans and the necessity for advance planning. Additionally, it contains the correct citations, websites, and other materials needed for carrying out the reconfiguration planning. Being divided into chapters makes it easier for readers to identify the topics they want to concentrate on or skip ahead. The book's excellent editing and readability easily earned it 4 stars out of 4.
The only drawback I could identify was that, since this book is written keeping Americans in mind, not everyone would find much use for the strategies and tools. However, everyone can profit from this book and recognize the value of setting adaptable financial objectives and doing advance planning. I would suggest this book to everyone, but especially to those who desire to have fulfilling lives even after retiring.
