A Dream For Peace is a narration about the life journey of Dr. Ghoulem Berrah. The story covers his developmental journey. First, it is about his early life in Algeria, a time when French colonies came to colonize Northern Africa. As a student from French colonies in Africa, he traveled to Bordeaux in France as a medicine student. He became an activist. He fought for the rights of immigrants. His contribution to the independence of his mother country, Algeria, was eminent. Later, he moved to the United States of America for his Master's degree and a Ph.D. He began his professional duties in American schools. Afterward, he became a diplomat and an ambassador.

The book is an aspiring biography of an ambassador, Dr. Ghoulem Berrah. The captions of his achievements are motivating. First, besides originating from a small country in northern Africa, he became a world icon, with much effort to restore peace for all. Secondly, he projects many attributes that any person in a leadership position can learn from him: reliability, commitment, selflessness, and open-mindedness. Thirdly, it is recommendable that the ambassador, Dr. Ghoulem Berrah, accommodate all people regardless of race and faith. Fourthly, it is praiseworthy how he contributed to talks on peace. Finally, the book is a mind renewer, mainly on events about the French colonial era, African independence, liberation movements, and post-colonial lifestyle.

Based on the suggestion projected by the title, A Dream For Peace, some portions of the narration appear too general to feature.

I rate this book five out of five stars because of the book's exceptional editing, motivating aspects, inspirational attributes, and mind-opening storyline. Again, the author included some remarkable stands and principles of prominent African leaders like Kwame Nkrumah.

I recommend this book to readers who love biographical narrations. The book is a nice piece of biography.
