The Future of Buildings, Transportation and Power by Roger Duncan and Michael E. Webber is a non-fiction book. The book begins by discussing the importance of sustainability and how it will shape the future of our world. It then explores the three areas of buildings, transportation, and power and how technology will transform each of these areas. The authors discuss how 3D printing, autonomous vehicles, and renewable energy sources will impact the way we build, travel, and power our world. The book also discusses the challenges and opportunities that come with these changes and how we can best prepare for the future.

The book argues that 3D printing has several benefits for the construction industry. First, it can help reduce the amount of waste produced during construction, as 3D printing only uses the materials needed for the building. Second, it can help reduce the cost of construction, as 3D printing is often faster and more efficient than traditional construction methods. Third, it can help create more sustainable and resilient buildings, as 3D-printed buildings can be designed to withstand extreme weather conditions and disasters.

One of the main challenges of 3D printing is the cost and time required to build with this technology. 3D printing is still in its early stages, so it is often pricier and slower than traditional construction methods. Other than that, it is a great book, and I enjoyed reading it.

Additionally, 3D printing can be used to create affordable housing for low-income communities. There were no grammatical errors in it. It was well-written and exceptionally well edited. I am rating this book 5 out of 5 stars.

The book is a great resource for anyone who is interested in the future of construction and urban planning. It is particularly useful for architects, engineers, city planners, and government officials.
