Through “Wisdom of The Men”, Mr. Clint Arthur gives a special recipe for success. He receives ingredients for it from The Men and some famous and successful people. The Men is a discussion group aimed at resolving the problems of its members. Like some famous personal development books, part of it contains the basics and shares the same definition of success: human capital, intellectual capital, financial capital, and social capital.
Judging by its content, “Wisdom of The Men” is a novel. But inside each story lie powerful revelations or pieces of advice that operate like bombs. Mr. Clint Arthur is the author of many bestselling books for a reason. Some of the principles that are revealed are simple enough to be already known by all of us. For example, successful people are busy. Some of them are intriguing, but they worked for him.
Some questions everybody asks themselves are answered inside this book. What is the perfect age for men to be married? There are also clues to finding answers to unusual and tough questions like this one: Is my father my biological father?
Mr. Clint Arthur is convinced that social capital is the most important aspect of success. That goal requires young people to “drink heavily”. That advice was given indirectly. But I still don’t like it because alcohol can cause huge physical and mental health issues. At the same time, I like the level of honesty and humility shown by the author. The story was told to show the author as an imperfect person. And I admit that drinking alcohol can be used to improve or even create relationships.
I rate this book a perfect 5 out of 5 stars for his effort and commitment. Yes, it is difficult to give energy to the reader of almost a novel. But, considering his success, Mr. Clint Arthur could’ve taken vacations or done other distractions. Instead of doing so, he wrote “Wisdom of The Men” for people who want to reach their full potential. I also recommend this book for all of us who struggle, choke, or wondering how to be a winner.
