[Following is a volunteer review of "Reconfigurement" by E. Alan Fleischauer.]
Name of the book: Reconfigurement
Author's name: E. Alan Fleischauer
Summary: The book "Reconfigurement: Reconfiguring Your Life at Any Stage and Planning Ahead", written by E. Alan Fleischauer, is a self-help literature that revolves around retirement, working in a job that you love, planning ahead of time, investments, and living life to its fullest before you retire. The author enfolds important topics like testing for career skills, investing, life protection through insurance, health insurance, retirement planning, long-term care options, and 401(k) or IRA.
Positive: What I liked most about this book is that it is written humorously. This writing style of the author draws the reader’s attention. Usually, books on financial advice leave the reader bored, which makes them leave it half unread even though it is very important for them. More important than the comedy book they'll enjoy reading. The author has shared his personal experiences that give the readers insight as to what should not be done. Because after all the failures teach us more than the success stories. The author has explained some of the complicated topics very simply, which is why this book is perfect for people of non-economic backgrounds or knowledge.
Negative: The readers might find that some examples are repetitive. But this is also important because maybe the author found certain examples appropriate for many concepts he wants to convey to the audience. Other than this, I didn't find anything that can be put into this section of the review.
I'd rate this book a 5 out of 5 because this book has provided me with a lot of information. It has helped me look at things on a long-term basis. In short, maybe I'm not going to retire in the next couple of decades, but it is good that now I know what steps should I start taking to retire comfortably. This book can help many other people like me who are looking to have a financially stable future. I liked the advice the author is trying to give the readers. To plan ahead of time.
Recommendation: I'd recommend this book to working-class people. Anyone who's starting their career. It is always good to have a blueprint of what you're working on. The same is true with your retirement plans, also good to have them thought through.
Errors: I didn't find any errors in the book. It is proofread, and any errors are eliminated before publishing.
