Galen Bray lived in the land of princes. A conflict erupted among the king's sons, plunging the entire kingdom into turmoil. This war resulted in widespread hunger and scarcity throughout the land. Galen himself endured the hardships until he received a message from his uncle, who lived in Magnum Coelum, a small town within Voulhire.

Upon receiving the letter, Galen learned of his potential inheritance should his uncle pass away. Following his uncle's wishes, he embarked on a ship, setting out on a journey that would introduce him to a diverse and captivating array of individuals. Eventually, he reached Magnum Coelum, where his guardian awaited him. The city's enchanting beauty and the improved living conditions of its inhabitants struck him as a stark contrast to his previous experiences. However, the question lingered: would the splendor of Voulhire endure indefinitely, or would a malevolent force threaten its prosperity? Read We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz to find out.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. The author skillfully employed descriptive language to vividly depict each scene and location, enhancing the overall reading experience. The use of straightforward language made the story easily accessible, allowing readers to effortlessly grasp the narrative. An intriguing aspect was the multiple perspectives from which the chapters were narrated, providing valuable insights into each character's emotions and thoughts in the given moments. Despite Galen serving as the central character, the book excelled in developing the supporting cast, making them rich and multifaceted.

The book skillfully weaves a tale of love, magic, and the quest for dominance. It provides readers with insights into the realm of magic and its associated terminology, enriching their understanding. The suspenseful elements throughout the book held my attention, making it difficult to put down. The final suspenseful climax leaves readers eagerly anticipating the next installment in the series.

I have no complaints about this book. It was excellently edited, as I couldn't spot any errors. I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. My high rating is a reflection of how much I relished this book, particularly its merits as a captivating mystery novel. I recommend this book to everyone, especially those who have an appetite for tales involving magic and fantasy.

I actually read this book and really recommend it to people who enjoy epic fantasy. It is a bit slow-paced and more of a setup for the whole series, yet I still enjoyed the new world and all the different characters we follow. I agree with the reviewer that it was quite a suspenseful read too, with darkness hovering over the seemingly peaceful kingdom.

I loved reading this book. Galen and a host of other characters spiced up the whole story. It's ending on a cliffhanger would make you want to read the rest of the series.

I'm curious what Galen's future in Voulhire. It seems that the place has an enriching ambiance but with hidden chaos. It depends on the delivery, sometimes I like stories with magic and fantasy, and it seems this book has magnificently delivered these themes. Congratulations to the author on BOTD!
