[Following is a volunteer review of "First Survivor" by Mark Unger.]
Title: First Survivor
Author: Mark Unger
Genre: Surviving Cancer
On Dec. 2, 2001, it all came down to their lifestyle. Louis Unger has neuroblastoma cancer. This is rare in children under three years old. He has battled this cancer for about five years now. This is an inspiring, accurate, or untrue story about saving a 3-year-old child from this rare cancer.
In August 2001, Louis started getting sick days after Thanksgiving, but they did not know what it was then.
Louis Unger was always actively playing his brother Harry. The toddler is three years old, and has been battling this for five years. What was Louis' favorite hand puppet? Mary Ellen made notes for her to remember what the next day would be like in the hospital. She made notes to get her through the hard times for Louis, her son.
The characters in the book are Dr. Seashore, Mary Ellen, Dr. Beardsley, and the Unger Family. They are Mary Ellen, their mother and wife, Harry is Louis ill brother. Drs. Nai-Kong V. Cheung, and Kim Kramer.
The author of this book is Mark Unger. Mark was born and raised in Solingen, Germany. In 1984, Mark finished high school and went to Wellesley, Massachusetts. He worked in the shipping industry for three years before starting his family business in 1992.
What about this book? Could I have done better? It was Nothing. The child astonished me, has cancer of the survivor at the book's conclusion. Mark Unger, congratulations on a well- written and edited text. I appreciate it since this book speaks to me. My lung cancer is still in its early stage. When we cross over, I'll see you there.
Positive aspects: I like the book by Mark Unger. I did not see anything wrong with the ook.
Negative aspects: There was not anything negative in this book.
I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.
Because it was a well-edited novel, and a great novel to read about surviving cancer.
[/i] I recommend people to read this book about surviving cancer. This is the number one book to read. It is just my opinion.
