Review of Reconfigurement

[Following is a volunteer review of "Reconfigurement" by E. Alan Fleischauer.]
Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer promotes both self-reflection and self-discovery. Readers may find it helpful to take the examinations provided in the book. Alan helps the reader create effective retirement strategies. He goes on to educate readers on long-term investments such as mutual funds and government bonds. Given the importance of the planning step, everyone should embrace it. As a financial consultant, the author has years of experience. Choosing a job, health insurance, long-term care, employment benefits, and social security retirement plans are just a few of the topics he addresses in this book.
Alan writes in a straightforward, direct manner. Given the topic, I expected this book to be dense with vocabulary and difficult-to-understand terms. He first defines a few words before addressing the subject. That was great because I was having trouble understanding some of the financial and retirement terminologies. The book is appropriate for a broader age group due to the author's use of clear language. I liked how the author suggested readers take personality testing.
I discovered there were a few flaws in this book. I occasionally had difficulty comprehending the tone. Although I feel that comedy and casual language should be used when discussing work-related topics, this book seemed to push the envelope. Jokes were told all the time, which was a little disconcerting. But that won't stop me from giving this book a perfect score of 5 out of 5 stars. I may hate jokes on business topics, but some people do find them fun. That's why they say one man's meat is another man's poison. I detected no errors while reading the book, indicating that it was perfectly edited.
The material in this book will help anyone starting a new career or thinking about changing jobs make sound financial decisions. Even younger readers should read this book because it promotes introspection when making plans.
