[Following is a volunteer review of "Snatched Up to Heaven!" by Jemima Paul and Arvind Paul.]
Snatched Up to Heaven! is a captivating masterpiece penned by the dynamic duo of Jemima Paul and Arvind Paul, marking their maiden venture into the world of literature. This inspirational work draws its inspiration from the shared dreams and visions of their daughters, Priyanka and Deepika. In its essence, the book serves as a profound sermon, offering a collection of valuable insights waiting to be discovered.
At the tender ages of 4 and 2, Priyanka and Deepika embarked on extraordinary journeys through their visions and dreams, delving into the realms of heaven and hell. In their innocent voices, they vividly recount their encounters with Jesus, God, and the celestial angels, painting a vivid picture of heavenly wonders, their divine activities, and the promised rewards. Their narratives take a chilling turn as they describe their visit to the abyss of hell, offering insights into its horrible landscape, its inhabitants, and the harrowing experiences within. With grace, the authors skillfully weave these captivating tales, aligning them with the teachings of the Bible by quoting relevant Bible verses.
The authors exhibit a profound grasp of biblical knowledge, skillfully integrating scripture verses to substantiate the children's observations. The book is replete with these verses, ensuring that even readers unfamiliar with the Bible can seamlessly engage with its content. Organized into concise sections and subsections, the book offers a user-friendly reading experience, allowing readers to progress through it effortlessly. Furthermore, the authors employ clear and straightforward language, eliminating the need for external references and ensuring a comprehensive understanding.
I find nothing to dislike in this book. The book is inspiring, insightful, and provides a deeper understanding of heaven and hell from the scripture of the Bible. There is not a single case of typo in this book and for that I am positive that the book was professionally edited.
I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. The plot was enjoyable, well-organized, and backed up with scriptures that make it more realistic. I found nothing offensive in the bookâno profanity nor erotic scenes. Therefore, I strongly recommend this book to all Christians, young and old, non-Christians, youth groups, Bible study groups, and ministers of the Christian religion.
