Thank you for that fair and informative review. Now I realise what to expect from this intriguing sounding book. Kashmir has always sounded like a distant and exotic place, and it’s so sad to learn about it troubles… it seems nowhere is immune from todays harsh realities.

The book focuses on the stories of the women affected by conflict in different ways, their stories of struggles, survival against all odds and sacrifice.
