The Solution is Political Revolution by Jillion R Rising seeks to answer the question: how can American citizens stop the perennial negative actions of their government against their financial security? The type of revolution suggested by the author is not one based on armed protests but one that seeks the return of representative democracy and economic prosperity in America. American citizens should seek ways to reindustrialize or create a vibrant economy of small businesses if they wish to survive the impending collapse of their country’s monetary system, precipitated by decades of wasteful government spending. How did the American government amass so much debt with little prospect of ever fully repaying it? What role did the Federal Reserve, the fiat currency, Wall Street, corporate America, immigration, and government officials play in the current and seemingly unending debt crisis? The author answers these questions by proposing a logically constructed thesis that he tries to prove through multiple historical accounts, such as the infamous 2008 mortgage crisis.

The best part of this book is that the author substantiated each of the presented arguments with facts from history, statistics, charts on government spending and debt, and other publicly available data, demonstrating the author’s deep knowledge of the American economy and bestowing confidence in his claims. The author methodically explains a convoluted scheme that he suspects the corporate elite, the Federal Reserve, and the government have devised to enrich themselves and bankrupt American citizens while keeping them divided against each other and dependent on the state.

There were many eye-opening moments in this book, even though I had heard many of the arguments or facts presented by the author before. For example, I learned how immigration and drug trafficking support an entire network of regulatory and legal jobs in the United States. You may argue that this is a conspiracy theory, but when you listen to the author’s arguments and how he connects the dots, it’s evident that immigration benefits the elites.

I rate this book five stars out of five. I think the content presented by the author is logical, adequately substantiated, and relevant to the current political situation in America, given that the debt crisis has worsened since the publication of this book. Although the earlier parts of this book painted a lot of gloom and doom about the American economy, I love that the author ended the book by proposing practical solutions to multiple issues, such as a plan to alleviate poverty in poor neighbourhoods, creating a new political party, etc. I have nothing negative to say about this book. It is well-edited (except for a few grammatical errors), it has no sexual, profane, or violent content, and I recommend it to readers from all religions.
