[Following is a volunteer review of "Niching Up" by Chris Dreyer.]
Niching Up by Chris Dreyer is a book that explains ways to get more revenue by focusing on one aspect of your work. It tells the readers how to start with many areas of interest and gradually specify one area that is perfect, great, and aligns with your purpose in your life. Some people are paid more than others in the same field due to their perceived level of professionalism. When people see a particular person as a professional, they pay the person more for the service rendered. The higher payment is not for the person but for the knowledge acquired and the time and resources spent in acquiring the knowledge.
The book starts with an attack on the cons, where the author explains that specializing in a particular area is not for the nerd, the need for increased effort and sacrifice, the need for awareness, the position of experience in making decisions, expertise, the need to learn from experts, the formula of expertise, the introduction of premium pricing, conversions and the analogy of jack of all trade, relationship equity and how it relates to choosing a particular area, the benefits for referrals, the importance of efficiency, and the impact of time on proper specialization.
The book is for anyone who wants to be the best in what they do. The book title is the positive aspect of the book. I like the style of writing and the quality of the work.
There is no negative aspect to the book. The book gave exceptional steps for everyone to follow and succeed in any niche. It is great to see a work of art that can help you become a better version of yourself in any aspect of the work you want to major in. It is great to read this book, and I am grateful to the author for the knowledge. It is worth my time. I do not dislike anything in the book.
I rate the book Niching Up by Chris Dreyer 5 out of 5 stars. It met all my expectations. The editing is flawless. The message of the author is comprehensible and very relatable. These are the reasons for my rating.
I recommend the book to specialists. I recommend the book to young adults. I recommend the book to professionals. I recommend the book to young career men and women.
