[Following is a volunteer review of "Niching Up" by Chris Dreyer.]
When starting a business, many different types of questions arise, and we need some practical advice to help us feel confident in the decisions and judgments we make.
Niching Up by Chris Dreyer is one such book that covers all the information required to start a small business. In a very straightforward and practical manner, the author teaches how to run a business in a specific field.
As an SEO expert in the legal profession, the author has a thorough understanding and expertise of how to run a profitable business in a niche market. Not only does he explain the positive aspects of a niche market in this book, but he also discusses some of the business's harsh realities.
This book impressed me in a variety of ways. The first positive feature I'd like to mention is how well the author covers the niche market; secondly, I'd like to praise the author for keeping this book so brief that it only took me a few days to fully understand the subject. Third, the writing style is simple yet engaging, with amusing analogies and thought-provoking topics. He not only explains technical business principles in layman's terms, but he also offers his own personal learning and experiences applying these principles in his business. I couldn't think of any downsides to this book because I found it so informative and beneficial; therefore, I'm giving it 5 out of 5 stars.
The book is professionally written, but there were minor profanities. Yet, I highly recommend Niching Up to small business owners, entrepreneurs, and those who are either running a business or planning to start one. It is written with a thorough awareness of the present business environment and its challenges, and it discusses specifically how to start and maintain a profitable firm in this environment.
