[Following is a volunteer review of "Purpose" by Gina Bianchini.]
The purpose is a very intriguing book. What I particularly liked is that the solutions were community based for and of the people. There were many quotes which I will personally keep with me and use.The writing was easy to read and follow, no struggles there. It shows that business and life go up and down in differing measures but with effort, deep thought and action they can merge into a unifying whole that produces good results and the results you desire. Very thought provoking and practical about how to build community enterprises that thrive. Yes, the word thrive is used often which underpins good business, good wellbeing and ultimately good communities. Purpose has well thought out and practical steps which are clearly put down on the page to follow. Nothing relevant is left out especially not the digital, internet aspect of setting up and growing and sustaining a community business. In short that benefits not only the members but the community at large starting with the individual, family and friends and group and individual growth. Like the lady who wanted just to run a marathon and started a group for running and runners like her.
Altogether a great read, It has inspired me to write more, read more and definitely to be more focused and purposeful and practical in life generally and as a person individually. Do give it a read, I did and enjoyed it immensely.
